Brief // Promotional materials were required to announce an interim pop-up exhibition of postcards expressing the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
Solution // One A2 poster plus one invitation to the event. I chose to focus my solution on the guest speakers, creating a typographical design to communicate clearly whilst using the stage lighting to reflect on the symposium itself: a conference or meeting to discuss a particular subject.

Brief // The client was investing time and passion into growing her business so now was the right time to focus on a brand identity that would take her business forward as it develops. As an established Kinesiologist and Nutritionalist, she needed a logo that represented her and her business for the future.
Solution // Spirituality and science, nutrition and mental health were all important to my client and her practice. We has talked many times of the multiple facets to the practice and wellbeing along our journey. The final logo was refined when I actually got to experience the practice for myself.
Brief // The client wanted to create a series of postcards that would last, while pointing towards the different events and ways to access volunteering.
Solution // Identifying three audience segments that might be interested in volunteering - professionals, younger people and those who may have tried volunteering before - we worked on crafting the message to match each of their needs.
Impact volunteering is a way to get involved even for a few hours.
Highlighting the effect it could have on organisations or individuals, I used a bright and striking background, whilst maintaining a clean space on the back to deliver as much information as needed.
Brief // A challenge to myself as I focus on distinctive brand assets, helping small businesses to stand out from the crowd: How distinctive are the most familiar brands to us if we take them apart?
Solution // Using the tools of a graphic designer - typography, colour and a grid structure to deconstruct one of our most iconic brands in the UK. As the viewer can you identify that brand? Notice what you see and how you uncover elements. What does and doesn’t stand out? This is perhaps a clue to the hierarchy of the brand elements.
Brief // Create a book cover based on a unique piece of modular typography.
Solution // The process of making a typographic form lead me towards developing an abstract final outcome.
Brief // Volunteer Centre Lewisham were looking for one consistent identity to their marketing - attracting both volunteers and organisations that required their help.
Solution // I created two flyers and one roll up banner for use at events using a consistent triangular grid. Use of a grid like this made the work striking but I kept a significant amount of white space for clarity. Use of the Centre’s restricted colour palette gave me an opportunity to split the range across the materials, adding to stand out for each marketing message to the two audiences.
Brief // As part of the Brockley Max festival, the Brockley Design Project needed to promote this free event. Aimed at families to come and experience hands-on construction using re-used cardboard and spark childlike imagination.
Solution // Marketing needed to be distributed in local spaces, available to all in the community. A flyer printed on recycled card was fitting, using bold colours, simplified architecture, cardboard textures and an unpredictable structure to encourage our guests' imaginations to go wild.
